New experiences coming to Las Torres Patagonia

One of Chile's most iconic gateways to Torres del Paine National Park is preparing for the 2026/27 season with a series of new experiences designed to enrich every stay. Las Torres Patagonia has announced several additions that celebrate the region's landscapes, culture, and gastronomy, giving travelers even more reasons to spend time exploring Chilean Patagonia; and giving operators two genuinely new products to offer, not just a refreshed property.

The headline addition is the W Journey Circuit, launching for the first time this season: a five-day hosted trek covering the route's main highlights, including Base Torres, the French Valley, Britanico Viewpoint, and the first Grey Glacier viewpoint. It's the first guided option available on the W, opening the trek to travelers who want its full scope without navigating it independently — available for stays from October 2026 through April 2027, with mountain lodge or elevated camping tent options.

Alongside it, November brings the opening of Galpón, a new restaurant inspired by Patagonia's traditional shearing barns, designed by architect Pedro Kovacic as a contemporary reinterpretation of the form: exposed timber beams, an open kitchen, and a wine cellar built around Chilean wines, spirits, and artisanal products for a deeper introduction to the region's flavors.

Beyond gastronomy and the new trek, Las Torres Patagonia continues to enhance the overall visitor experience through improvements to its trail network, including work on the heavily-used Base Torres trail, along with common areas and guest facilities. These investments are designed to complement, not replace, the destination's greatest asset: the extraordinary landscapes of Torres del Paine, where granite peaks, glaciers, turquoise lakes, and native wildlife create one of South America's most spectacular national parks.

These new additions reflect a growing trend in Patagonia, where travelers are looking for experiences that go beyond hiking. Today, a journey through Torres del Paine can combine world-class trekking with local cuisine, regional wines, wildlife encounters, and meaningful opportunities to connect with Patagonia's culture and traditions.

As a long-standing partner of Las Torres Patagonia, our Chile team can help you select the accommodation, trekking program, or tailor-made itinerary that best matches your clients' travel style; whether that's the new hosted W Journey Circuit, a self-guided multi-day adventure on the W Trek, or a more relaxed exploration of Torres del Paine.
