On day three, an early visit to the impressive Tatio Geysers offers stunning geothermal sights and a stop at a local village to spot wildlife, capped by a relaxing soak in the Puritama hot springs.

On Arrival, youāll be transferred to you all-inclusive lodge at San Pedro to settle and take in the Chilean desert.PM: In the afternoon, embark on an excursion to Moon Valley, renowned for its lunar-like terrain. Enjoy a stunning sunset over the striking rock and salt formations, framed by vibrant, multicolored mountains.

Today, you'll venture out to the Salar de Atacama, Chileās largest salt flat. This vast, rugged expanse of white salt and minerals rests above a massive underground lake. At Chaxa Lagoon, part of the National Flamingo Reserve, youāll have the chance to observe three flamingo species: James, Andean, and Chilean. In the afternoon, you can opt to visit Laguna Cejar, where you can unwind and float effortlessly in its highly saline waters.

AM: Rise before dawn for a drive to over 14,000 feet to explore the Tatio Geysers, a dramatic geothermal field shaped by nearby volcanic activity. In the crisp morning air, watch towering steam columns shoot up nearly 40 feet into the sky. For the adventurous, there's a chance to take a dip, keeping in mind temperatures outside hover around 17°F. Afterward, enjoy a picnic-style breakfast. On your return journey, youāll stop in a small village and may spot local wildlife such as vicuƱas, vizcachas, and various bird species.
PM: In the afternoon, unwind with a soak in the scenic, warm pools of the Puritama hot springs.
